Our great passion is documentary film for both cinema and television, which is made in cooperation with outstanding filmmakers, with enthusiasm, innovation and quality
Mischief Films was founded in 2002 by Georg Misch and Ralph Wieser. We focus on international co-productions, primarily with partners in East Europe and Great Britain. They include the BBC, Channel 4, Arte, WDR and ORF in addition to broadcasters in the Netherlands, Slovakia, Hungary and the Czech Republic.
Thanks to our innovative post-production system we can avoid technical compromises despite increasingly tight budgets. It’s now available to other filmmakers and production companies in the form of a service.
Mischief Films is a member of the Association of Austrian Film Producers (AAFP), dok.at and EDN, the European Documentary Network.
